Majarra participated in the International Congress of Arabic Publishing and Creative Industries (Congress PCI), organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) of the Department of Culture and Tourism. Majarra partnered for the second time with the Congress, held on 21-22 May, 2023 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), as part of the activities of the 32nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF).
Through the participation of a galaxy of publishers, translators, content creators and entrepreneurs from different countries around the world, the Congress, in its second edition, showcases the latest trends in publishing and creative industries to explore new horizons of growth and opportunities for cooperation in various creative fields. The second edition of the Congress, whose theme is "Adapting Stories", raises various issues and explores several topics related to this theme, such as Arabian fantasy tales, edutainment, emerging technologies, and the impact of AI tools in creating content and human creativity. The Congress hosts keynote speakers and organize discussion sessions, networking events and professional workshops that highlight developments in enriching Arabic content and best practices in creative platforms and modern technical media.
As part of the activities of the first day of the Congress, Ammar Haykal, CEO of Majarra, presented a case study on harnessing data in shaping the future of Arabic content, and the importance of data as a driving force in many industries, especially the content sector. It outlines the need to benefit from the wealth of data to serve users, showcasing the experience of Majarra, which follows international best practices in the use of data in producing the most influential content and supporting its competitive advantages.
