Majarra joins Quora World Meetup Week

Majarra participated in the Quora World Meetup Week on Saturday, September 3, 2022. The annual event, part of a series of Quora-organized forums in different languages and regions, envisages being a space for Quora writers in different fields to come together, have a good time, and engage in discussions on topics of their interest, building on the preceding community-led events. This year’s event spans from September 3 to 10, 2022.

Through this forum, launched in 2017 and held remotely for the first time in 2020 due to the repercussions of the pandemic, the world's most popular Q&A platform officially supported these gatherings worldwide, where people from different backgrounds and interests come together to celebrate their passion for sharing and growing knowledge worldwide. The new remote format enabled Quora to communicate with distinguished Quora community members in remote places whose participation would have been impossible save the Internet.

The Meetup hosted Dia Haykal, Director of Brand and Partnerships at Majarra. She spoke at the opening session about the fruitful editorial partnership that Majarra launched with Quora in 2022, where Majarra publishes the best answers authored by the Quora community in various fields and topics on Majarra’s platforms as part of its efoorts to provide the best Arabic content on the Internet.

“Quora-Majarra partnership has granted Quora Arabic Community a distinctive aspect and helped enrich the Arabic content on the Internet further,” stated Mohamed Ellaban, Head of Arabic Community, Quora, about Majarra’s participation, indicating that it “highlighted this strategic partnership and ways through which the Quora community can be an essential part in spreading knowledge to better understand the world by posting the answers and posts of the community members on Majarra’s global platforms.”

"The Meetup was a wonderful opportunity to communicate with the Quora community, with which we have worked since the beginning of the Majarra-Quora editorial partnership, first of its kind in the Arab world,” said Dia Haykal, adding that the event witnessed the discussion of “ideas and topics of interest to Arab youth and their future. We look forward to more profound cooperation with the community and expanding our partnership in a more beneficial way for the youth through their engagement in producing high-quality Arabic content.”
